India's Most Powerful Women In Business


Naina Lal Kidwai: The Group General Manager and Country Head of HSBC India, is a chartered accountant by profession, a banker and a business executive. She used to hold various positions for the company but now plays a larger role that deals with insurance, assets, BPO, services and banking.

Naina is the first Indian woman to graduate from Harvard Business School, this is not the only firsts in her career; she was the first woman president of FICCI.   

Mallika Srinivasan: The CEO and Chairman of TAFE, Srinivasan is a soft spoken lady who has a strong mind and will that has allowed her to transform the company as the third largest producer of tractors in terms of volumes. Her company is the second largest seller of tractors in India.

She holds various positions like part of the Board of AGCO Corporation- America, Tata Steel Limited and Tata Global Beverages Limited. She is also part of the governing body of the prestigious Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Her company has made commitment to the development of agriculture and academia.

Chanda Kochhar: The CEO and Managing Director of the second largest private bank in the country, ICICI bank, Chanda is also the head of the corporate center of ICICI bank. She has raised the ailing bank to crossing the 10,000 crore net profit for the year 2013/14. She has been given three-year extension to remain as the head of the bank.
