India's 10 Prosperous Cities, Delhi Tops the List

One of the wealthiest cities in India— Mumbai ranks second in the list. India’s financial capital has been certified as the most competitive city time and again. It is one of the fastest growing cities in India, which is the closest second to Delhi. Its excellent transportation network and good business environments are the awe factors about the city.

GURGAON:

Haryana’s financial capital, Gurgaon is now the most strategically important city in terms of economic development. Since the advent of financial and manufacturing companies, Gurgaon has never looked back and is no more the dormant town which it once was. This transformed city now fetches a third highest per capita income in India and is also the leading financial and industrial center. Its remarkable transformation has brought half of Fortune 500 firms to the city.

NOIDA:

If Gurgaon has financial services companies, Noida is empowered with major Information Technology (IT) companies that have set up a hub here. Some of them include IBM, TCS, WIPRO, HCL, Tech Mahindra, and Adobe Systems. Thanks to its proximity to Delhi and presence of special economic zones in and around, Noida sets a growth model state of Uttar Pradesh. Noida’s model which worked wonders is now being replicated across various cities in the state and in the country.
