Budget 2015: 8 Challenges FM Jaitley Ought To Face

Consumer SpendingImprove Consumer Spending:

Flexible tax cuts that would allow consumers to invest liberally in the capital market would be ideal to boost investments in the domestic scale. Aggressive disinvestments to raise funds would be the other way to boost investment. Because the scenario in India is such that the private sector is heavily indebted and is not in a position to invest further. Therefore greater spending from the consumers who pay lesser taxes would add to growth.

Supply Side Inflation:

The ‘act of god’ inflation in  other words. Increase in price levels due to increase in cost of raw materials and wages. How to contain the losses that often hit the agricultural sector in India? Invest more in agro infrastructure that can increase farm productivity despite the natural breaks.
