Top 7 Most Effective CEOs in the World

BANGALORE: CEOs are the people who take care of an organization and take the responsibility for successfully running it. According to Harvard Business Review they have released the list of top 100 CEOs in the world by evaluating total shareholder return and the change in each company's market capitalization, measurement of each company's environmental, social, and governance performance.  Here we are going to look in to the top seven from the list as compiled by Business Insider.

Lars Rebien Sorensen of Novo Nordisk

The Danish National born Lars Rebien Sorensen is the CEO of Novo Nordisk and he has been ranked the number one CEO in the world by Harvard Business Review. He joined Novo Nordisk’s Enzymes Marketing in 1982. Over the years, he has completed several overseas postings. He was appointed as a member of Corporate Management in May 1994, and in December 1994 he was given special responsibility within Corporate Management for Health Care. He was appointed president and chief executive officer in November 2000.
