Space Explorations: Ten Countries That Spend The Most

BANGALORE: Every since Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, countries have been on the race to see who will conquer space. Well the journey to the moon is not a huge thing anymore, as countries are pushing towards landing on Mars.

America is credited for the best space research and explorations but India isn’t far behind with their recent stint with M.O.M, which reached the Mars space in one try. So with all these inventories and explorations, which countries shell out the most to these ventures? Here is a list compiled by The Richest.

America:

It is not a surprise that America tops the list since they have a huge space program under the name NASA. The American space department is the largest and most efficient in the world. They landed the first ship on the moon and also keep placing satellites for various causes in space.

They spend over $18 billion for space missions and researches. They have the satellites orbiting Jupiter, Mercury and Pluto. They are the leaders in Space Exploration.

Russia:

Not far behind their arch-rivals, Russia is also a big spender when it comes to space explorations with over $7 billion. Russia’s space program has been on the decline but President Putin is keen on bringing it back to glory.

He is believed to have increased the budget and will spend over $50 billion for the next seven years till 2020. They have plans to construct operational stations on the moon.

India:

India has witnessed some really successful missions to the moon. The country recently sent a satellite to the Mars and history has been created with India reaching Mars on its first attempt.
