India's Lesser Known Business Magnets


Bangalore: India has more number of billionaires than France, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and Hong Kong and is home to the sixth largest group of super rich population in the world, according to a recent report published by Wealth-X. However, billionaires in India have become a household names, but there are few richest who are probably not known by many. These wealthy people have managed to escape media’s attention mainly because they are either based abroad or have business extended to limited places. Forbes Magazine has come up with a list of wealthy Indians who are not known by many.

Ajay Kalsi

Indian born Ajay Kalsi is the founder and CEO of London listed Indus Gas. He is ranked as the 27th richest Indian in Forbes list. He hailed from a business family from Kanpur and gradually got into his father’s business that consisted of footwear and mineral trading. Today, Kalsi is also present in sectors like commodity trading, real estates and business process outsourcing.
