Ravi Pillai

Ravi Pillai is a founder and managing director of industrial construction companies RP group of companies, being an Indian he is settled in Bahrain. He is addressed as a “Global Businessman” and a “Philanthropist” based on his hard work and humble nature. Pillai is ranked as the 34th richest Indian. He hailed from Kerala, but started with a small trading firm in Saudi Arabia during 1978. He has almost 60,000 people working for him and he is considered as the largest employer for Indians in Middle-East. He has bagged Padma Shri and Pravasi Bhartiya Samman awards as well.

Sunny Varkey

The chairman of GEMS Education, Sunny Varkey is an Indian but shifted to Dubai in 1959. He stood at 45th position on the richest Indian list. Being an education entrepreneur, Varkey himself couldn’t study beyond high school. He took over the English School run by his parents in 1980. At present, GEMS Education is considered as one of the largest operators for private schools in the world and has almost 110,000 students in 100 schools across eleven countries.
