Dear FM, Here's The Country's Wish List For Budget 2015

Bangalore: It’s that time of the year when every Indian is concerned about the union budget as finance minister Arun Jaitley is expected to announce a ‘transformational’ budget on 28 February, this year. This year budget can have two implications on the Modi government – a break phase or a make phase to his tenure. This is the nature of budget 2015 since the Budget Session started this week.

The Narendra Modi government on Sunday promised to walk the “extra mile” to accommodate opposition’s concerns and sought to invoke a “spirit of mutual cooperation”.

When all spotlights are on the Modi’s first time full term budget, let’s look at the reverse scenario. What exactly does the different markets and industries expect at the end of this month, post Jaitley’s speech? Here’s a report, keeping par with the Financial Express.

1. Manufacturing sector:
In the 2014 budget, Jaitley had been very generous to the manufacturing sector. Along with the prediction that India needs jobs in the manufacturing sector, he also allowed manufacturers to sell their products without any additional approval.
Definitely, this sector is expecting a boost especially the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The Make in India is raising the expectations. The sector expects the government to encourage local manufacturing of electronic products, which will drive the growth component of manufacturing sector.
