BENGALURU: As the Budget 2015-16 is nearing, India is raising its bar of hope and expectations. From the common man, corporate to vital industries, all have posed and expressed their expectations from the budget and see a budget that would help them improve, grow, and work upon new things with a futuristic approach.

The expectations of the industry is based on the fact that as India is steering herself towards a digital reformation and successful growth and thus there are platforms to be worked upon and needs government’s full-fledged support in the budget as well.

The telecom industry is the back bone of the Digital India drive and currently the Telecom subscriber based in India reached 96.42 Crore in Nov 2014.  But, a large portion that is 70 Percent Indians of Rural India has been left out as reported by The Economic Times; and it has to be given a major boost on way to strengthening the industry in India.
