The American internet entrepreneur and computer engineer, Jan Koum is the CEO and co-founder of a mobile messaging application WhatsApp. In February 2014 the app was acquired by Facebook Inc. for $19 Billion. He was also featured in the Forbes list of richest Americans with a net worth of $7.5 billion, which made him the highest-ranked newcomer to the list that year. In November 2014 he donated $1,000,000 to The FreeBSD Foundation and close to $556 million to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) the same year.

Sean Parker

Sean Parker is an American entrepreneur who cofounded the file-sharing computer service Napster and served as the first president of the social networking website Facebook. He also cofounded Plaxo, Causes, Airtime, and Brigade, an online platform for civic engagement. He is the founder and chairman of the Parker Foundation, which focuses on life sciences, global public health, and civic engagement. In June 2015, Parker announced a $600 million contribution to launch the Parker Foundation. He has also contributed several million dollars in to the fight against cancer.
