But the 31 year old billionaire and his wife Zuckerberg Priscilla Chan announced that they would give the majority of their wealth over the course of their lives to "advancing human potential and promoting equality".

On December 1^st 2015, Zuckerberg and Chan announced the birth of their daughter Max, and pledged to donate 99 Pct of their Facebook shares to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, their new charitable foundation with focuses on health and education.
