#4. Urban Outfitters’ Prescription Shot Glass

This is not the first time the fashion retailer has chosen to withdraw its products amid controversy. The Prescription shot glasses was designed to look like prescription pill bottles, along with a line of mugs and pint glasses.

Combined with alcohol, the misuse and abuse of prescription medications can be toxic and alsotoo many teens are experimenting with them, believing that they are safer than street drugs.

The Partnership at Drugfree.org released a statement condemning Urban Outfitters for "making light of the real prescription drug abuse epidemic that’s claiming lives of teens across the country."

Regardless, the Company decided to remove the controversial goods off shelves.

#5. The Witch Hunt over Manhunt

Manhunt is a psychological horror video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.

It is not a game to everyone’s taste, it features wave after wave of death. The controversy surrounding Manhunt reached a peak on July 28, 2004, when the game was linked to the murder of 14 year old Stefan Pakeerah by his 17 year old friend Warren Leblanc in Leicestershire, England.

Soon after the incident, the game was removed from the shelves.
