Sun Pharmaceutical is a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Mumbai, stood on 65th position in the list.  The company was founded by Dilip Shanghvi in 1983. Sun Pharma had an innovation premium of 38.34 percent and a market cap of $19.88 billion.

The company manufactures and sells pharmaceutical formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) primarily in India and the U.S. The company offers formulations in various remedial areas, such as cardiology, psychiatry, neurology, gastroenterology and diabetology.

The 2014 acquisition of Ranbaxy will make Sun Pharma, the largest pharma company in India, the largest Indian pharma company in U.S., and the 5th largest specialty generic company worldwide.

Last but not the least, Bajaj Auto has managed to retain in the top 100 on 96th position in the list. Bajaj Auto is a part of the Bajaj Group, specialized in manufacturing 2 and 3- wheeler vehicles.

Founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in 1930 in Rajasthan, Bajaj Auto is the world's third-largest manufacturer of motorcycles and the second-largest in India. It recorded for the innovation premium of 31.73 percent and a market cap of $10 billion as of May 2014.
