iRistPro the Latest Smartwatch from Intex is Exclusively Available on Flipkart

BENGALURU: Intex asserts its place in the smartwatch business with the launch of iRistPro. The smartwatch will be made available for Indian markets exclusively on Flipkart at a reasonable price of Rs 4,999. From a strictly design perspective, the smartwatch is pretty identical to the Apple Watch and provides users with the necessary comfort while wearing it. The smartwatch will be available in three attractive color variants, viz. blue, black, and mustard. Moreover, users would find it amusing that the smartwatch doesn’t feel bulky on your wrist.

The iRist Pro is a feature-rich smartwatch which notifies the user with any incoming calls, texts, and also messages from third-party apps. The device displays notifications and call logs on its screen, once it’s synced with a smartphone. The smartwatch is custom-built to allow users to make or receive calls, by utilizing the phone’s SIM. But, the device doesn’t integrate any in-built SIM slot. On the connectivity front, the gadget connects to your smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0 with Low Energy support. Moreover, compatibility has been extended to all Android smartphones running version 4.4 and above.

“The bluetooth iRistPro integrates devices to make communication and sharing of information better and provides tools to take care of health and fitness,” says Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.

The smartwatch from Intex comes in a body made up of aluminum alloy, featuring a screen size of 1.6 inch and a 2.5D curved glass display which highlights a 240×240 resolution. The battery specifications read a 400 mAH capacity, providing up to 120 hours of standby time and 180 minutes of talk time. The smartwatch offers an internal memory of 128 MB and a 64 MB RAM capacity. An interesting addition is the in-built pedometer that monitors steps, measures distance, and helps keeping a calorie count. The device is designed to be both water and dust resistant. Intex will provide its consumers with interchangeable straps, and additional free nylon straps.
