Zenfone 3 Rumors Drive Smartphone Geeks in to Frenzy!
BENGALURU: In the past few days rumors have been circulating about Asus and its alleged plan to release its latest Zenfone 3 Deluxe in India. Although there is no way of knowing how much truth is to it, but the very idea of the phone coming to India seems to be exciting techno geeks and here is why:
The smart-phone, which is set to release across the US sometime this month, offers a performance and specification which is way above its pay grade.
The phone which is much closer to a phablet, has a 5.7inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. The screen is super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colors and provides a comfortable touch and view experience. It has multi-touch capabilities of up to 5 fingers and is protected by the highly rated Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The device has a very powerful engine, running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, with the alleged Indian edition expected to host the upgraded 823 version. It has a dual core 2.15GHz Kryo and dual core 1.6GHz Kryo. It operates on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
The phone comes in both 4GB and 6GB variants with the memory space varying between 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. It has an external micro SD slot that is expandable up to 128GB which makes the higher end of the phone an equivalent of a portable hard disk in terms of memory.
The Zenfone 3 has a 23MP primary camera with features that include laser detection autofocus, 4-axis optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash- providing HD images and videos. It also accommodates an 8MP secondary camera with 1080p resolution, delivering high clarity selfies.
The phone has an all metallic body and a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery.
