These 20 Smartphones Got Price Cut in September

Bangalore: Gadget launch is an ever ending process and smartphones tops in this list. From past two months we have covered all devices which got price cut; you can see them here – “Price Cut in July” and “Price Cut in August”. Now we are back with 20 smartphones which reduced their price in the month of September. The list contains high end smartphone from many key players like Samsung, Motorola, HTC and Nokia. It seems Sony and BlackBerry have not reduced price for any of its devices. The highlight of the list is the hottest smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S III and Nokia 900.

1. Samsung Galaxy Note

Old Price: 31,550 New Price: 29,990

With the launch of Galaxy Note II smartphone, Samsung has decided to reduce the price of original Galaxy Note. The Samsung Galaxy Note is the first smartphone in its race which comes with tablet like features.  The Galaxy Note is powered by the company’s very own Dual-Core Exynos microprocessor at clock speed of 1.4 GHz along with Mali-400MP graphic chip, 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system (Android 4.0 ICS upgrade is available)

The device features a large 5.3 inch, HD Super AMOLED display at 1280x800 pixels resolution, 8 MP camera at the back and a front facing 2 MP camera for video chat. It also features 16 GB of built-in memory and a card slot for expandable memory up to 32 GB using micro SD card.

2. Samsung Galaxy S II

Old Price: 27,900 New Price: 25,900

After the launch of latest Galaxy S III, Samsung reduced price for its older version. Galaxy S II has a 4.3 inch SUPER AMOLED Plus display which gives a very slicker look to it with high readability. The Galaxy S II runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system, upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The highlight of Galaxy S II is its 8MP auto focus which gives minute detail of its subject. The Dual-Core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor makes Samsung S II an upgraded initiation of smartphone and attracts huge fan followings in India.
