These 23 Smartphones Got Price Cut in July


Bangalore: Gadget launch is an ever ending process and smartphnes tops in this list too. We always think of buying those newly released handsets but our budget doesn’t allow doing it. With the launch of high end smartphone like iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X, Sony Xperia S and many more, it seems many smartphones have stepped back to survive in the market with a price cut. When compared to other months in the year, July has seen the most smartphones price reduction.

1. Nokia C6

Old price: Rs 11,000. New price: Rs 10,475

The Nokia C6 is a Symbian based smartphone launched in April 2010 with a price tag of 11,000 and now the price has been reduced to 10,475.

C6 is powered by 434 MHz ARM 11 processor and comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It loads a 5 MP camera with autofocus and flash. Also the C6 is preloaded with Ovi Maps and the Ovi Store applications.

2. Nokia Lumia 800

Old price: Rs 23,585. New price: Rs 23,000

The Nokia Lumia 800 was launched in November 2011 for 28,000, the company reduced its price twice in very less span of time.

Lumia 800 runs on Windows Phone operating system and powered by 1.4 GHz processor. The device features a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen with tough polycarbonate construction and corning gorilla glass protection. It also has a stunning 8 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, HD video playback, 16 GB of internal user memory and 25GB of free SkyDrive storage for images and music.
