Samsung Launches the 20.9 Megapixel Camera Phone


BANGALORE: Samsung, the market leader in the Smartphone industry has launched a Smartphone called K-Zoom, which is available for pre order on Amazon India for 29,999 and deliveries for the phone start by July 9. This is the second camera-specific phone from the company with the first one being the Galaxy S4 Zoom.

The Samsung Galaxy K-Zoom comes with a 4.8-inch super AMOLED display with a resolution 720x 1080 pixels and is powered by a hexa core processor in which each quad core clocks about 1.7 GHz and 1.3GHz of speed along with a 2GB of RAM. It has an 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded to 64 GB with a micro SD card. The K-Zoom runs on the latest version of the Android OS 4.4 Kitkat and is charged by 2430 mAh battery. The phone comes with lots of connectivity features like the Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS.

The main spotlight of the phone is the camera which puts together the features of a smartphone and a point and shoot into one device. The Samsung K-Zoom offers a 20.7 Mega pixel with a CMOS sensor at the rear with 10x zoom and a Xenon flash which includes a 2MP front camera too. The focal length on the camera lens can cover up to 24-240mm and comes with an aperture level of F 3.1 to 6.3.

Apparently, Amazon is offering freebies worth 6000 for its first 1000 customers. A Samsung pop out case, Sandisk 32 GB memory card, free movie tickets and many more. The Samsung K-Zoom will be available in three colors- charcoal black, shimmery white and electric blue.
