Samsung Set To Launch Galaxy S5 Mini

BANGALORE:  According to SamMobile, the new ‘mini’ version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship is to be launched in a short order. The Galaxy S5 mini is considerably impressive than the 2013 version.

The Galaxy S5 Mini features a 4.5-inchs 720x 1280 pixel resolutions with Super Amoled screen. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz Cortex-A7 Exynos 3 Quad-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. The S5 mini version comes with a 16 GB internal memory and microSD support up to 64 GB.  It fronts software Android OS v4.4.2 KitKat along with Ultra Power Saving Mode, Private Mode, Kids Mode and KNOX and powered with Li-Ion 2100 mAh user replaceable battery unit.

The Galaxy S5 feature 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1- megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus LED flash, Geo-tagging and face detection. The device supports Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and LTE.

The S5 mini comes with fingerprint scanner, heart rate sensor and IP67 certified, which pertains that the device is dust and water dust resistant. It sports a glossy, plastic body with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

As per the estimate of an Indian website, the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini 30,000 (U.S. $499).
