Moto X Force To Enter Indian Markets in January

BANGALORE: The shatterproof screened Motorola’s Droid Turbo 2 is scheduled to launch in India on January 2016. The phone will be dubbed as Moto X Force and the GM of Motorola India, Amit Boni announced the launch in an interview with CNN-IBN, reports TOI.

Boni in interview said, "The Moto X Force will soon be introduced in India. It has the same Moto ShatterShield display technology. Also, the name 'Droid Turbo 2' is exclusive to the US; the same phone will be introduced as the Moto X Force in India and other countries."

The spoken phone features a 5.4-inch OLED display and powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor that is clocked at 2GHz with 3GB RAM. The novel phone will be offered in two memory options – 32GB and 64GB and it has an expansion slot that can support microSD cards up to 2TB.

The specialty of the shatterproof-display panel is that the screen is usable even after one of the layers is cracked. Thanks to the Motorola’s ShatterShield technology it can withstand any possible shock and still it will work flawless.

The Moto X Force runs on an Android 5.1.1 and soon will be updated to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the camera front, this novel phone features a similar camera package as the Moto X Play which comes with a 21MP primary shooter and  5MP front-facing camera.

The phone doesn’t come with water proofing capabilities but it has the ability to repel water from its surface. It packs in a 3,760mAh battery and supports Turbo Charging with Qi and PMA wireless charging. Hence Moto X Force will be the face of Motorola from the New Year.
