Moto X Force: The 'Shatterproof' Phone From Motorola

BANGALORE: Motorola has made it to the news again with the rumours of launching a ‘shatterproof’ Smartphone later this year. Last week, the firm posted pictures of the rumoured phone along with specifications. Now the anonymous device is officially christened as Moto X Force and there are speculations about the launch date, price and Moto Maker support, reports NDTV.

However, there is no official confirmation from Motorola about what exactly the ‘shatterproof’ means though it could point to a MIL-STD rating. The Smartphone is expected to launch in December with a price tag around 42, 000.

According to the Weibo (Chinese equivalent of Twitter) user @Upleaks posts, Motorola may launch this Smartphone as‘Moto Bounce’ in some regions and in other places as ‘Moto X Force’. The ‘shatterproof’ phone was first reported by Mobipicker.

The report suggests the Motorola Moto X Force will sport a 5.43-inch QHD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. On the camerafront, the device will feature a 21MP sensor on the rear end and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The Moto X Force will be equipped with a 32GB and 64GB internal storage memory and micro SD card slot for further storage expansion as well. The Moto Maker customization option will be made available for this rumoured Smartphone.
