Here's What Xiaomi Brings On The MIUI 7

BENGALURU: The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has finally unveiled the MIUI 7 where the BETA version is all set to hit the phones on August 24. All the Smartphones from the company will support the update and it will be based on the Android Lollipop 5.0 with some improvements and new features, reports Tech 2.

With the launch of the UI, Xiaomi also launched the new color variants like Blue, yellow and pink on the Mi 4i. These new additions will be available on the official Mi website with a same price tag of 12, 999.     

So, here’s what the MIUI 7 brings in:

Show time And Musical Lock Screen:

One of the best features on the UI called ‘show time’ records short video loop which will swap your contact picture on the phone. On the other hand, Xiaomi is bundled in a lot of new themes which can show live scores of sports matches from the lock screen itself.

And that not all, there is a lot more added to the lock screen. Now, MIUI 7 allows you to lock the phone with a musical tune where the phone unlocks only if the tune is played according to the lock screen pattern.
