Here's What Xiaomi Brings On The MIUI 7

Customization and Features:

If you think this is mind blowing, here is lot more to it. This all new UI comes with close to 1500 themes adding to the excitement of customizing the phone everyday with a web tool ‘Muse’ which allows you to create themes as well.

The device has 5 new font sizes and a facial recognition feature called the ‘Baby Album’ tab in the MIUI 7 gallery app which recognizes all the images of kids and puts it on a single album folder. With that, there also a child mode that lets parents target only some apps for their children with limiting SMS too.

Texts And Language Support:

With all these there is also a new feature called the XXL text which allows bigger texts with support for Hindi language as well.

The MIUI 7 now supports up to 10 languages where the older version of the UI supported only about 6.  

Visual IVR And DND:

Xiaomi has added some features which is 

only targeted at Indians. One of the them would be the visual IVR service which lets you manage the services like banking, booking air tickets and many more without listening to any recorded messages. To serve the users better, the company has parnered with 50 Indian firms.

The MIUI 7 is also bundled with an automatic DND feature to help the users. The Xiaomi Smartphone which is paired with an Mi band detects when you have dozed off and automatically puts the phone in the ' Do Not Disturb' Mode.   

Other Additions:

Xiaomi on the MIUI 7 has provided data compression with partnering Opera on the web browser. 

This feature lets the user to save a lot more browsing data compared to the other phones.  In terms of performance, the MIUI 7 will be much faster with taking less boot time and also the new update will consume lesser battery. The app loading time has been cut down with the increase in response by 30 percent now.
