Amazon Introduces Fire Phone


BANGALORE: The American e-commerce company Amazon has launched its own Smartphone ‘Fire phone’ competing with the major players in the market Samsung and Apple. It has a new feature called the Firefly, which lets you identify and buy things seen by the customers in the real world.

First let’s talk about the specifications of the phone. According to Amazon.com, the Fire phone comes with a 4.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The processor of the phone is a Snapdragon 800 running at a clock speed of 2.2 GHz and has 2GB of RAM. The phone has 2 cameras a 13 Mega pixel shooter with an LED flash at the rear and a 2.1 MP on the front. It comes with 32GB or 64GB storage options and has a 2400 mAh battery with talk time of 22 hours and a stand by time of 285 hours. The camera can record full HD videos and comes with loads of connectivity features. The phone comes with 3-D viewing capabilities and other features as the company calls the ‘Dynamic perspective’ allows you to tilt and turn the phone to access shortcuts or scroll through applications.
