With the introduction of Sony's GV-8 Video Walkman, there is a new wave in entertainment and instructional videocassettes sector. The Walkman is a TV with the Video Cassette Recorder. It is hand-held and its size is similar to that of a student’s long notebook. It weighs 1.13 kg and is battery-operated. It has 3-inch color LCD screen. The VCR has been fitted with tiny 8mm videocassettes, which can play or record for four hours in the extended play mode.

5. Prediction in the 80s: Advanced Broadcatching; Now: Netflix and Hulu: There was a time when going to the theatres was the only way to watch a movie. Now people watch movies by downloading them through torrent sites and enjoy them for free. Though it is not legal or ethical and the picture quality is often low, it is a wide-spread practice. We are moving to a world where you can get every movie and TV show that you want to be available legally online. However, business hurdles remains to be overcome.
