5 Mobile Trends that Died, but Must have Lived

4. Flip Design:

The flip phones were really stylish and it used to feel so good to showoff that flap open, more than style it also used to give an extra protection to the screen from scratches. Many phone makers also embedded an outer screen on the flap to let you know about the incoming texts and calls without opening it. But unfortunately this flirty design became obsolete when more and  more advanced features came into phones and the scratch resistant and  more protected gorilla glass also become a new hinder.

5. Push To Talk (PTT):

The Push To Talk (PTT) feature turns your phone into a walkie-talkie, this technology allows you to talk to a group of people in one shot rather than just communicate with only one person at a time.  Nokia was the major phone maker who adopted this technology; there are also some Blackberry and Sony Ericsson phones with PTT.
