Developed by Bio Wire, the industry leaders and financial analysts have estimated the making cost of the game to be more than $150 to $200 million, making it the most expensive game made at the time. But it was later substituted by Grand Theft Auto at $265 million.

The game popularity grew big within three days of its release where it had 1 million subscribers making the fastest multi player game online, according to the Wikipedia. With losing a fair amount of subscribers in the following months, it has remained profitable where the game has made close to $136 million in revenues with adding the subscription income to it in 2013.

# Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a shooter game, which was released in 2009 by Activision for Xbox, Play station and Windows. This game is the sixth installment of the series and is the sequel to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The latest version has received good reviews from the gaming websites and within 24 hours of its release it has sold 4.7 million copies on North America and United Kingdom. According to Activision, the game had sold over 22 million copies worldwide and is the second best selling game in both U.S. and U.K.
