Napkin PC
The Napkin PC is an idea for a next generation personal computer that was entered by Avery Holleman. The device is intended to help creative groups collaborate on designs more effectively.
The Napkin PC comes with a wireless base station which is called as a napkin holder where it holds the so-called napkins. The napkins are also modular, so many of them can be hung up on a wall to create a much larger display.
While working on Napkin PC user can sign their name to load personal data and settings. The Napkin PC works as an e-paper which doesn’t need much power so it has no need for a battery as it features a single layer flexible circuit board that utilizes inductive power. The Napkin PC also comes with a pen which can wirelessly power the Napkin when it comes into range. The pen and the napkin also communicate with the base station PC via long rage RF (radio frequency).
