The Invisible Car

Mercedes has come up with an innovative idea of invisible car. The invisible car is a part of the company’s attempt to promote its car which has the F-Cell hydrogen fuel cell technology in its car. The company designed a car that was “invisible” to the environment (i.e. had zero emissions) and had an astoundingly low impact on the environment.

To make the car invisible, the company covered the one side of the car with flexible mats of LED lights which were hooked up to a Canon 5D Mark II camera which is fixed in other side. The camera sends the image to the lights and the lights are activated to create a picture of it.

Mercedes says the car is good enough to see the production of its series, but it is expected to only be made available to markets in 2014, according to external source.
