Why you Should Invest in Silver Now

The best way to escape the global turmoil is to devalue their currency and stick to the gold and silver. Silver is precious metal and also an industrial metal. Its believed that due to the scarcity constraints the mining of metal would become limited in the future. So silver may incur temperate price change in the short run. In the long run, this white metal is the mirror image of the gold, so the change in gold prices will effect the prices of silver.

Naveen Mathur, Associate Director, Commodities and Currencies, Angel Broking says, “The Chinese economy is expected to bounce back from its downturn with an aim to increase industrial output, so its demand for silver would also shoot up.”

The ways to invest on silver

The simplest way is to invest is by buying silver coins or bars from the jewellery stores at the prevailing market rates. The making of the coins are inclusive of the making charges but it is still lesser than what jewellers charge for the gold ornaments. When one sells these coins or bars they wont be able to recover the amount that one pays for the making charges. The other problem would be that if an individual plans on buying a large amount of these coins and bars then he might need a bigger storage space for the security.
