3. P - Possibilities

Finding out the options is focused on the present but this step looks more at the future. Perceptibly if you're trying to pay off your credit card due, you don't want this debt to hang over your head for long. But don't just stop there - think about what else that debt payoff could do for you in the long run.

Ask the following questions to yourself:

• How does solving this problem (paying off the debt) fit in with my future goals?
• Will any of these options help me avoid this problem in future?
• What if my chosen option doesn't work? What alternative I have?
