Buxfer is online money management software for personal finance, account aggregation, budgeting, bill reminders, and forecasting. It was developed by two Carnegie Mellon University students, Ashwin Bharambe and Shashank Pandit, in Mountain View, CA.

Buxfer allows users to monitor all of their credit card and bank accounts through a single place. In addition, Buxfer allows its users to track their IOU's to and from friends. Transactions are updated every night and categorized. Buxfer’s spending reports let users look at past spending and analyze spending trends. To plan future spending, users can create budgets and billing alerts. This tool also integrates with mobile devices, giving users the ability to check account balances or add cash expenses, while on the go. Users can also setup reminders to keep their finances in line.   

#3.AceMoney Lite

AceMoney Lite is a freeware tool that helps you organize and manage your finances with ease. It supports all the features required for home or even small-business accounting needs. With AceMoney you can manage multiple accounts of different types, such as checking, savings, credit cards, loans, debt accounts and many more.

The software supports more than 150 different currencies and automatically downloads exchange rates from the Internet, generates reports by categories or payees, as tables or pie charts. AceMoney Lite is available in English, Spanish, Russian, Italian and many other languages.
