Remember These Things Before You Opt For Credit Cards!

2. Interest rates applicable on the card: Card with lower interest rates! That is the best option. Before you buy a credit card make a point check for the interest rates that are applicable on it. Interest rates will not matter you much if you choose to plan to pay your credit dues before or on time. Plus, if you plan on paying the minimum amount due on the credit card every month and then carry forward the balance, then interest rates are the most important considerations. These interest rates are not permanent they change easily without any prior notice. So, it is always best to remember that unless you make complete payment every month, even the best cards will turn expensive.

3. Check for the credit limit: Credit limit is nothing but the amount of money that a card issuer will allow to borrow. It could be any amount depending on your credit history. Using this credit limit to its maximum can hurt your credit score too. If you use your credit card for every single purchase, then you would need a high credit limit but if you are a casual user, who intends to use the card once in a while then you can opt for a lower credit limit too. However, if you plan to keep your card handy then credit score is very mandatory. Obviously the credit limit of your credit card also depends on your credit profile and income and other factors analyzed by your credit card provider.
