Most Common Fraudulent Claims Insurance Advisors Make

Claim 2: Not Bank’s Fixed Deposit, This Bond Is Best

Many insurance advisors may claim that the policy they are selling is similar to bank’s fixed deposits (FD) scheme that is considered as the safest option to invest your money.

Sometimes the agents tend to offer some traditional endowment plans to invest in secure government securities and debt instruments as tax free bonds that are presented as assured returns products to unsuspecting insurance seekers.

Don’t get trapped, most of the times assured return is a false claim. The truth is that returns are directly proportional to risks; there are no 'guaranteed' return products. If any scheme assures you high returns consistently, it's the first sign of an investment fraud.

You must understand that it completely depends on the market and can get stalled at any point of time. There is no Consumer Law exists to keep a check on fraudulent practices done in the assured return schemes.
