Getting Married? 5 Things You Can Save On

Music

If you arrange for a band or DJ at your reception, there can be hidden costs related with either type of music you choose.  Usually, the cost of music is for the musician or DJ’s time and the rental equipment needed.  What they are not specific about is that - if your space is large then you will need additional speakers and microphones to have an enjoyable, loud party.  This “bolt from the blue” can cost you anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousands.  This is clearly not the type of shock anyone enjoys. So, make sure that you clearly explain the space with actual numbers.  If you are booking a hotel or reception hall, you should be able to get the exact dimensions for them.  This way, there is no “confusion” or “miscommunication” about what was agreed upon, and if there is extra equipment needed the vendor will be responsible for the cost.
