3. Habit of Using Credit

For many, money means power and freedom. And if you are also convinced with this concept then do make sure that the power and freedom you want to cherish should be done at the cost of your own money. After all they say, “Never spend your money before you earn it”. This is something you both need to agree with, as buying things every time on credit can put you both in trouble in the longer run. Hence it would be better if you make yourself aware of his/her borrowing habit.

4. Reveal Your Past Dues

Hiding things from each other, especially in terms of money can sour your relation. You may have student, personal, car or a home loan which is very much acceptable. Don’t hesitate to tell him/her about your past debts if you have any. Also discuss with your partner about your present financial portfolio and try to share your loan with him/her as well so that you can finish the debt sooner. It’s better if you both review each other’s credit report before tying the knot.
