Forget Credit Cards; Now Make Your Payments Through Smartphones

With the introduction of the new android feature called Host Card Emulation, Master card has decided to publish all the technical details of this feature by June. These details will help all the companies to kick start with the new feature. According to Master Card, they have already started testing the new technology with two major banks named Banco Sabadell that is in Europe and Capital One in the U.S.

”The use of HCE provides a very attractive way forward to launch an increased number of NFC-based offerings,'' said James Anderson, MasterCard's group head for emerging payments, in a statement.

Phones with NFC (Near Field Communication) are in the priority list of both Visa and Master card. Nowadays, we find almost all the Android phones packed with NFCs and remote storage capabilities along with the new version of Android called Kit Kat, which was released earlier. It seems that iPhones are devoid of NFC but there are chances of enabling the new technology in it.

Now everyone can use their Smartphones instead of their cards at their favorite retail stores, transit systems or any other places where contact-less payment are accepted with the help of this new technology. Visa has added that it will provide all its app developers with new tool in order to integrate the new payment capabilities.
