Gill Marcus is the Governor of the South African Reserve Bank. She was graded 'C' in 2011 for managing monetary policy in Africa's largest economy, South Africa. African central bank has recently lowered its growth forecasts for 2012 to 2.7 percent from 3 percent. Marcus has reportedly said that nation is facing domestic problems like high unemployment, infrastructure constraints and poor electricity supply which may slow down the economy.
