SBI to issue 5-year dollar bond


Hong Kong: After a meeting with investors this week, State Bank of India (SBI) is planning to issue a five-year dollar bond, according to a source close to the deal. The banks that were hired for managing the deal included Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland and UBS. The issuer was on a roadshow that began in London on July 15 and ended in New York on July 21, sources said. SBI also met investors in London, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Frankfurt and Zurich.
