FINO To Help E-commerce Newbie To Shop At ATMs


Bangalore: Online shopping is going viral and even rural people prefer e-commerce. FINO PayTech Limited is an Indian financial inclusion solutions and services company which is promoted by 24 private sector banks. It is trying to bring in a new technology for the low income families who are new to e-commerce.

The company is coming up with ‘Money Mart’ which is collaborated with Tata communications payment solutions. This is primarily targeting the urban customers with the remittance service and provides low- value loans for rural customers. TCPS are the largest authorized ATM network in the country and it work under the brand name Indicash.

FINO is tying up with the ATM deployers in order to install their payment software which will help the customers do online shopping and receive goods in ATM centers. With this technology development e-commerce will become more users friendly and will favor the common man in the country.

According to a FINO spokesperson, the company has a tie-up with e-commerce providers like Snap deal to offer assisted e-commerce services to its target customer base, comprising of migrants and low-income households. Besides providing cash-on-delivery option at the kiosks, FINO employees allow customers to shop from their screens. At present, the customer has to withdraw funds from the ATM to make payments. "Considering the inability of FINO's target customers to use cards and other cashless modes, we started off with payments in cash. Gradually, we intend to add other payment platforms as awareness and comfort levels improve."Reports TOI.
