Avantha Power files prospectus for IPO


New Delhi: Avantha Group's Avantha Power and Infrastructure (APIL) announced that it has filed the Draft Red Herring Prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). APIL hopes to raise up to 1,250 crore with an initial public offering (IPO) of its equity shares. APIL has 2,400 MW of generating capacity under various stages of implementation and 1,320 MW of generating capacity spread across India. The company's 191 MW thermal power capacity recently became operational. Enam Securities, Kotak Mahindra Capital, Citigroup Global Markets and Axis Bank are acting as the Book Running Lead Managers to the issue.
