It is the only Asian country that comes under the list of top 10 highest income tax countries. The income tax rates are higher than the Asia’s total average rate of 23 percent.

As of 2013, the tax rate is 50 percent. The tax structure is divided into two parts, with marginal rate of 40 percent and the 10 percent towards property tax.
