The Oscar won by Joan Crawford for "Best Actress” for her role in the classic film noir “Mildred Pierce” was sold for $426,732 at Nate D. Sanders Company’s auction. “There were many bidders vying for the Oscar. It sold to a private collector,” Sanders told Auction Central News.
