CP Gurnani (popular as `CP’ within his peer group), is the Chief Executive Officer - Mahindra Satyam since June 2009. Prior to that, he was with Tech Mahindra, heading Global Operations, Sales &Marketing and Competency & Solution businesses.

An accomplished business leader with extensive experience in international business development, start-ups and turnarounds, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, CP in many ways led TechMahindra’s transformation journey, where he contributed significantly to the company’s strategy and philosophy. His inimitable style of leadership combined with his sharp focus on customer experience helped Tech Mahindra emerge as one of the leading providers of IT Services and Telecom Solutions to the global telecom ecosystem.

In a career spanning 28 years, he has held several leading positions with HCL Hewlett Packard Limited, Perot Systems (India) Limited and HCL Corporation Ltd. He serves on the Boards of CanvasM, TechMahindra (Thailand) Limited,
TechMahindra (Beijing) IT Services Limited, Mahindra Logisoft and Tennenbaum Institute in Georgia Institute of Technology among others. CP takes keen interest in community work and was nominated by Ernst & Young for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007.

A chemical engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, CP remains an active alumnus of NIT Rourkela, closely engaged within the network.
