Key Person:

M.R. Jaishankar is the Chairman & Managing Director of Brigade Group. As a young entrepreneur, he established Brigade Groupin 1986. The company’s very first project was the tallest building to be constructed by a private developer in Bangalore. In the course of his professional life, Jaishankar has held many significant positions. He was the President of KOAPA (Karnataka Ownership Apartments Promoters’ Association) during 1996-98, now CREDAI-KARNATAKA. He was also Former President, Rotary Bangalore Midtown. He was a director on the Board of Public Affairs Centre, a leading Non Government Organization in Bangalore. He is presently on the Committees of BCIC (Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and Confederation of Indian
Industry (CII), Bangalore.

Milestone:

1)Brigade Towers was Bangalore’s tallest building built by a private developer till 2002.
2)Brigade Gardens was the first air-conditioned shopping complex in Bangalore.
3)Brigade Regency was Bangalore’s first project to get CRISIL rating in 1996.
4)Brigade Millennium, Bangalore’s first mixed use enclave was awarded RT2+ by CRISIL in 2002.
5)Brigade Group went public with successful IPO in 2007.
6)Completed the World Trade Center, Bangalore, the city’s tallest building.
