Prisio Technologies: Successful Cloud Migrations Delivered Efficiently

Not so long ago, Wilsonart International, a global leader in engineered surfaces headquartered in Austin, TX was looking for a strategic partner to implement and rollout Oracle Sales Cloud globally. They needed a partner that can understand their core business model as well as the nuances within each business unit. The goal was to provide a unified CRM platform to support the business objectives and growth. Prisio was selected as the implementation partner to support and enhance Wilsonart’s vision of a global cloud/on-premise co-existence strategy. “We have completed nine implementations successfully for them so far,” says Ravi Balakrishnan, one of the partners at Prisio Technologies. Based out of Malvern, PA, Prisio empowers its clients to realize benefits of the cloud and on-premise CRM platforms.

Prisio’s services help customers transition to the Oracle cloud platform and leverages the standard features available therein. While the next tier additionally includes sales performance management and complex territory management, the top tier offering adds ERP integration. Prisio equips these clients with a pre-built solution set that can be deployed swiftly at the customer’s cloud installation.

Prisio’s unique approach to steering cloud services towards the automotive industries sets them apart from others in the market. “We are uniquely positioned in the market as one of very few Oracle Sales Cloud solution providers targeting the Automotive parts supplier eco-system. Besides addressing customer needs through their services, Prisio offers the automotive industry with their flagship product - AxLDemand (Accelerated Demand). AxLDemand is an integrated CRM and demand management solution leveraging Oracle BI, PaaS, and Oracle Sales Cloud for automotive parts suppliers. “There are thousands of automotive companies that supply parts to OEMs. These OEMs need to develop production forecasts and pursue long term supply deals with OEMs about 3-4 years before a model goes into production. Through AxLDemand, we provide data visualization and analytics on commercial production data set for our customers to forecast their demand and pursue new sales opportunities,” explains Balakrishnan. AxLDemand is flexible and configurable and is built on Oracle extensibility framework, which supports meeting unique customer needs. According to Balakrishnan, the company’s solution was built with the support and guidance from Oracle’s product management vertical strategy teams.

The company makes it imperative for all its consultants to be certified by Oracle, although it is not mandated by Oracle. The consultants go through a rigorous training program before being certified. Prisio’s product roadmap primarily relies on that of Oracle, because of its interconnection with the latter. Prisio is a certified partner of Salesforce and plans to have a team of its consultants certified by Salesforce, in the near future. “We are in the process of completing our first Oracle service cloud for a customer. By the end of this year we would have the solution up and running, and early next year, we are planning to apply for a formal Oracle certification too,” concludes Balakrishnan. In addition, Prisio offers Oracle e-business suite implementation and upgrade services and business process re-engineering services.
