Tehran: Tehran and Islamabad have signed a deal for supplying Iranian gas to Pakistan, IRNA reported.
As part of the plan a pipeline will be laid between the two countries through which Iran would supply natural gas to Pakistan.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a trilateral summit between Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan Sunday.
The Iranian oil ministry said the negotiations on the pipeline, which will also connect India in a latter stage, covering a distance of 2,700 km, were underway between the two countries.
The pipeline would supply about 150 million cubic meters of gas per day when the project is completed.
