She is the founder and editor of AEC bytes an online publication that focuses on research, analysis, and review of technology products and services for the building industry and the founder of Arcwiz, a consulting practice in the area of computer aided building design. She has pursued her PhD in Architecture from UC Berkley specializing in intelligent building modeling. Her other areas of educational achievements include a professional B.Arch. (Honors) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an M.Phil.in Architecture from the University of Cambridge, England. Apart from working on various design projects as a practicing Architect she has also entered into teaching 3D design and CAD at UC Berkley. Giving presentations and serving as a jury member in Technology award functions are all part of her routine but she has always been close to the research community by serving in the editorial board of the journal, Automation in Construction.
