Why should CEOs be like the Eagle?
Eagles have a very peculiar mating ritual, in which the female eagle carries a twig along with her and takes on to the skies, followed by the male. After reaching a particular height, she suddenly drops the twig; it is upto the male to swoop down, catch the twig before it falls to the ground, and bring it back to the female. The female again soars high and drops the twig, which is again caught by the male. It is only when the male succeeds consistently that they form a pair. CEOs should take this as a lesson, as they are often surrounded by people, who might be genuine or fake. It is upto them to choose people who can be trusted and do away with those who cannot succeed in winning their trust. The core team can be built based on mutual trust, which would make the team strong enough to face difficulties and take the company to soaring heights.
