Why Is Modi Constantly Attacking Congress?

In Modi’s view the “government in Delhi neither has a leader or policies nor a clear consciousness”. He even questions government's capability in further running the country.

Few weeks back Modi said while addressing the BJP rally in Mumbai "There is a government in Delhi, which is just like court of fraud Godman like Nirmal Baba, who claims that having a sweet would bless you. The government in Delhi also makes similar claims that 'vote us to power' and inflation would go away on its own, this is what they have said, right?" as DNA reported.

Modi says that government had made the promise that the inflation will go away in 100 days and this is like a fraud Godman’s assurance. On the growing inflation, string of corruption, and increasing petrol prices Modi said that he would have to register a case against the ruling government. He further argues that government was unable to fulfill the promises that they had given during the elections. In his opinion government is misleading the masses by perpetrating their own schemes.

Modi said recently in an award function in Mumbai, "He (Singh) lacks the vision and gumption to run the country. Before he was the country's finance minister, for the discovery, mining and processing of uranium there used to be a set budget for its extraction. But since he became the finance minister not even a rupee has been spent from that budget. And later, after becoming Prime Minister he tried to approach America for all these things."
